I asked the question the other day about who has planted gardens this year. I have one but it's not in the ground, maybe next year on that one.
Anyway, I bought "Earth Boxes" and plant in them. They are cool little container gardens.
They are rectangular in shape like a window box. You place the grate and drain in the bottom, insert the fill tube, fill with soil, plant, cover and water. Pretty simple. You use black covers and cut holes for the plants to grow through. Not really necessary if inside but outside it prevents weeds and your soil drying out. Then you add water in the fill tube until water comes out a hole on the front of the box.

Well tomorrow will be two weeks since I planted them and about half my seeds are growing. So tomorrow I will replant what's not coming up and move them into the greenhouse.
What's in the boxes?
Radishes, carrots, beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, zucchini and bell peppers.
The green house has vents on the roof that are temperature regulated and it works great. I am so glad we brought it here as the growing season is very short.
